How Morus works
How it works.
Six things, start to finish.

Add a book
Scan a barcode or type the ISBN. Morus looks it up on Open Library and adds it to a queue. Add as many as you like, then save them at once.

Set a status
Mark each book unread, reading, or read, and change it whenever. Books sit on your profile, newest first.

Pin a book
Hover a cover on your profile and click the pin. Pinned books move to the top of your shelf.

Public or private
Set any book, or your whole shelf, to public or private. Public shelves are visible to anyone with the link.

Share your shelf
Your profile has its own link. Send it to anyone — they can view your public books without an account.

Open data
Morus is open source, and every book links back to its Open Library record. Nothing is locked in.
